Webpage for films

Hi all, Just wanted help really. I want to make a webpage to feature my films on but I need some help.
I do want nothing like Lycos or Geocities I want a proper .co.uk website but where do I go to buy one and how do I know what a good deal is and so on. Please help me out cause I know a good few of you who have your own websites. thanks in advance.

i use ukreg.com

nice easy interface for checking and buying domains, and they do some good deals on webspace at fasthosts.

if you want to use a free host, like brinskter, or even the webspace provided by your isp, they offer free re-direction and email forwarding.

i have never had a problem with them.
